Wine Education Experience
Have you ever wondered how aging in oak or stainless steel affects the texture of a white wine? Or what it means when we say wine has minerality? This first wine education experience will help you answer those questions and more. The first class is all about giving you the tools and vocabulary to understand and describe what you love about the wines you enjoy.
We’ll look at different factors that influence the character of a wine, and of course — provide examples of each — because after all, the best way to learn is to drink.

A Few More Details…
We are thrilled to be hosting this event at Foxglove — the amazing new cocktail bar run by Jordan and Liz Lewis, right across the street from our shop! We’ll also be joined by Erika Widmann, who holds a wealth of knowledge about wines from all over the world, has worked in wine production on the ground in California, has decades of experience owning and selling wine, and (last but certainly not least) is the newest addition to the Public Wine team!
We’ll be tasting six wines during our time together, paired with tasting snacks. It’s sure to be a fantastic evening — so tell your friends and grab your tickets!
